Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Kontor uses OAuth for integrations, so your passwords are never stored. Sensitive data — including API keys, passwords, and credit card numbers — is automatically filtered from memory storage. Each user’s data is fully isolated with row-level security.

Kontor receives a scoped access token via OAuth. This token only grants the permissions you approved during the connection flow. Kontor can then read and act on data from that tool on your behalf, but always requires your explicit approval via the Decision Queue before taking any action.

No. All outgoing actions — emails, calendar events, messages — go through the Decision Queue first. You must explicitly approve each action by swiping right before it is executed. Nothing is sent without your consent.

No. Recording only happens when you approve the prep brief decision card before a meeting. Recording requires a Solo, Pro, or Scale plan. The notetaker bot announces itself when joining and sends a consent message in the meeting chat.

Yes. You can delete individual memories from Settings. You can disconnect integrations at any time, which immediately revokes Kontor’s access. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact support@getkontor.com.
